1. Introduction
This website provides car rental services in Shah Alam and nearby areas. By using this site, you agree to comply with all the terms outlined herein.
2. Definitions
- Customer / You – The individual renting the vehicle.
- Company / We – Kereta Sewa Shah Alam.
- Rental Period – The duration for which the vehicle is rented.
3. Renter Eligibility
- Must be a Malaysian citizen or foreign national with a valid driving license in Malaysia;
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years old;
- Must hold a full (non-probationary) driving license;
- You must be physically present during vehicle collection with valid ID and license for verification.
4. Booking & Payment
- Bookings can be made via website, WhatsApp, or phone call;
- A deposit (e.g., RM50 or 20% of the rental fee) is required upon booking and will be deducted from the total payment;
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time to avoid cancellation charges.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Bookings can be cancelled within 24 hours from confirmation; refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days;
- Deposit may be partially or fully non-refundable in case of late cancellation or breach of terms.
6. Vehicle Usage
- Rental price is based on a minimum of 24 hours per day, with an additional hourly charge after that (up to a 5-hour grace period);
- There may be a daily mileage limit (e.g., 200 km/day) or unlimited mileage depending on the selected rental package.
7. Renter Responsibilities
- You are responsible for any damage, loss of the vehicle, and any traffic summons issued during the rental period;
- Vehicles must not be sub-leased or handed over to any third party;
- Any issues or breakdowns must be reported immediately to the company.
8. Insurance & Liability
- Basic insurance coverage is included, but Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) charges and a security deposit may apply separately;
- Insurance claims may affect your deposit unless caused by major incidents (e.g., riots, floods, serious accidents).
9. Intellectual Property
All materials (text, images, logos) on this website are the property of the company. You are not allowed to download, copy, or redistribute any materials without prior consent.
10. Cookies & Privacy
This website uses cookies to improve your user experience. Personal data collected is used in accordance with our Privacy Policy (to be published as a separate document).
11. Updates & Termination
We reserve the right to update or change these terms without prior notice. All changes take effect immediately upon being published on the website.
